Welcome to Evolvera, a friendly role play with many members from Horse Isles 1 & 2. We don't bite here, so if you stop by if you like and stick around a little while. The overhaul is now officially complete and we are open for business, so feel free to join if you want. Don't feel awkward or anything, I know some people do, but we're not going eat you. =)
Information on creating your character forms is located here, for there is no set form for each. Much reads. Moderators:misery, Emily, Myles, Moderators
You can place your pending or completed forms here for review. As long as you completed them acceptably they will be accepted and moved to the active characters section. Moderators:misery, Emily, Myles, Moderators
Hear the fireworks? The discussion forum. Here you can ask questions—answer questions—or just talk because you feel like it, given that it's appropriate. Moderators:misery, Emily, Myles, Moderators
All of the accepted characters and forms will be placed here. If you see your character here, then you know you're good to go and can start RPing immediately. Moderators:misery, Emily, Myles, Moderators
It's optional, but if you'd like you can put your character's background/journal/photo-album here. Some peope like to give a little more information on their character than what's in the form. It's kind of like an extra, completely free-style page of your character. Moderators:misery, Emily, Myles, Moderators
Here are the requests. If your character is looking for anything in-particular—mate, friend, etc—then you can put a wanted-add up here, and if anyone is interested, they can respond. Moderators:misery, Emily, Myles, Moderators
Here is where the Geek-Squad of RP comes in. For those of you who are less experienced, or don't RP like everyone else, here is the school for those. Here, you can request RP help, and tudoring for your replies. It's a very useful tool. If anyone has any tips, you can post them here as well. Moderators:misery, Emily, Myles, Moderators
The Castle of the Summer is one of two of the only remaining homes of the long gone Ancients. Since, it has become the castle of the Guardians, where the Royalty lives. Located atop a cliff, its views span most of the Ancient Lands.
The Keep is considered the most sacred place in the Ancient Lands. All the souls of the dead move and live among the life of the Keep. It is said if you ask for help, the spirits will hear your pleas and send you relief. It is common to find the Guardians here praying.
The Farm, as it is simply called, was the first site of the Rebellion when the Guardians and the Extras drove out the Outsiders. Now a days some of the Extras who are more qualified keep up The Farm, and grow there crops not found naturally in the wilds of the Ancient Lands. It will remain a place of historic significance.
The Tellers is one of the longest standing areas in the Ancient Lands that had never been built upon. The large meadow filled with the Flowers of the Earth change color, much like a mood ring, according to the emotions of the inhabitants of the Earth. The Guardians have Readers who determine the colors and aurors of the flowers and determine the emotion of the Earth. Depending on the color, events in the future can be foreseen.
The Rush is the largest river in the Ancient Lands. It runs through in a serpentine pattern and is sometimes known as the Snake of the Ancients. It has been flowing for centuries without interruption. (Here, you may role play your characters anywhere in general that doesn't have to do with the above places.)
Along the southern boundaries of the Midlands lies the Rocky Shores. It used to be the most beautiful beach in all the lands, but since the fighting that has taken place its glow has dimmed. Now it is still one of the more pleasant places to visit, for the relaxing air and peace, but it still has no retained its former beauty.
The Devision is the most common place for any of the Guardians and the Extras to come across the Outsiders and vice versa. The Devision is the largest plain in all of the Lands, and runs directly down the dividing line between the two sides. Most of the fighting has not happened here, despite all odds. The Devision has its own ways of keeping the peace—if you're not careful, the tap on your shoulder might just be that tree over there. It is known as the most magical place in the entire Earth for all of the magic that has seeped into the soil from the blood of the Guardians that was spilled during the Revolution.
The Castle of the Spring is one of only two of the Season Castles left in all the Lands that used to be the homes of the Ancients. This castle, however, has been once again reclaimed by the Outsiders and is used by their royalty, much like the Guardians do with their castle.
The Plantation is the Outsider's version of The Farm. Here, many are employed working the fields, and collection the fruit of the orchards. Many Extras are employed here, or at least the ones that willingly made The Cross over to the Outsiders. Many hope that by working nobly they will be granted The Change.
Williamston, the city built on a hill, is the main town for the Outsiders on the Reserve, not to say that there aren't more. It's the main hub away from the smaller villages and the main market place. Only the wealthy among the Outsiders live here—usually tradesmen and merchants. (All role play of towns—in Williamston or out—can be done here.)
The once beautiful Breakers was destroyed centuries ago in a wildfire set by the Outsiders. In a desperate attempt to offset the Guardians, they burned their own land. The fire killed twelve Guardians and thirty-six Extras who didn't escape in time before the flames surrounded them. Along the waterfront lies a monument erected a decade after the incident to the lost lives.
The Anzana river, the central river of the Reserve, has been running for significantly less time than the Rush, and is more prone to drought. In the summers the river sometimes reduces to practically nothing, sometimes leaving the inhabitants of the towns along the edges with little to no water. But, in the spring after the winter snow has melted, the river overflows with an abundance of water that the rarely-fluctuating Rush doesn't receive. (Here, you may role play your characters anywhere in general that doesn't have to do with the above places.) Moderators:misery, Emily, Myles, Moderators
The great mountains on the farthest edge of the Never Lands is the darkest place in all the lands. It is said that the mountains hold the Earth to the Sky and if it were disturbed the entire Earth would upturn and all life would be lost. No one wishes to go there because of the dark demeanor, and so said it is a defense mechanism. No one has ever questioned the logic, for there is rumor a giant crystal known as The Heart lies at the summit, and if it were disturbed, Hell would break loose.
The Redlands are justly named, as every tree there stopped producing green leaves, and now produce only red ones. The Redlands was the site of the bloodiest battles of the Rebellion, and it is said there was so much bloodshed that the trees haven't actually absorbed water since. No one really bothers going to the Redlands anymore, other than to pay Respects at the Cemetery that honors every single individual that died. All the graves—Outsider, Guardian, or Extra—are all there. It is easily the most morbid place in all the Lands.
.here all the smaller role-plays that were once used and played out in the extra role-play categories will be placed here. the only way they make it here is if they survived for a long time—those that are immortal.
